In memory of the cheeky little puppy who started our lifelong love affair with Rottweilers. She came into our lives in 1996 and we never looked back. Who would have thought that a puppy purchased by first timers as a companion would go on to become the first Australian Dual Tracking Champion Rottweiler. Whilst we stumbled across the show world by chance, our partnership blossomed, and we achieved great things in both the specialty and all-breeds ring. Some notable milestones in her show career include RUBISS and ultimately her NRCA championship.

During her hectic schedule, she also managed to fit in her CDX title, and fulfilled her duties as our first brood bitch admirably. From three litters, Rasa has left us a wonderful legacy which can be seen in the quality of her progeny, who to date have achieved numerous V1’s, a B.I.S.S. winner and many titles in obedience and tracking.

We wish to thank Dan and Pam Johnson for breeding Rasa and trusting us with this special girl. We thank all the people who helped us in the tracking and obedience fields, which enabled us to indulge Rasa in two of her passions.

 Thank you Rasa for many wonderful years as our Number One girl. Your memory will never dim, and your legacy will live with us forever.

Rasa is our foundation bitch at Rakaaz, and what an introduction to the breed she has been. She has earnt her NRCA Champion, Australian Champion, Companion Dog Excellent,  and TRACKING CHAMPION Titles. She was the first Australian Dual Titled Rottweiler to include Tracking Champion in 2001.  Along she way fitted in 3 litters of puppies. Several months from turning 7 years of age, she was Runner up Best In Specialty Show. Unfortunately a shoulder injury prevented us from obtaining her Utility Dog title.

October 2001: Medium sized bitch. Attentive, alert and confident. Very well built, with good substance and good bone structure. Correct body length. Very strong head. Medium sized ears, well set and well carried. Dark brown eyes, almond shaped. Flews tight with dark pigmentation. Powerful neck with good reach. Well developed front end with a good depth of chest. Good front angulation. Strong pasterns with well knuckled feet. Strong topline with a slightly sloping croup. Well formed rear end with good angulation. Correct coat, markings on chest could be better defined. Free movement with good reach and drive.   Scissor Bite."

Beautiful head. Good ears, medium size. Good eyes, medium brown. Good dry head. Good markings. Short coat, could be coarser. Very good movement.   Scissor Bite."

October 1999: Medium sized, well constructed bitch. Good broad skull and muzzle. Adequate stop. Brown eyes. Ears medium to large, pendant shaped, well set and carried. Mouth sufficiently dark with pink flecking in corners. Nicely arched neck. Deep roomy chest. Good width of chest. Somewhat long in trunk. Well angulated fore and aft. Legs well placed. Feet well knuckled. Movement freeflowing with good reach and drive. Scissor Bite."
